Redundancy Degree

This is the number of constraints in the reduced set of the constraint or balance matrix. That is, the degree of redundancy is equal to the number of redundant measurements present in the model. As the degree of redundancy increases, the relative confidence in the results of the reconciliation may also increase. The data quality, or any indicator that certain data is incorrect, also increases relative to the degree of redundancy.
